Katie m. Berggren

Read Katie's Artist Statement

Currently a self-published artist, Katie studied graphic design and illustration at Central Washington University and began her art career six years go - experimenting with a variety of media before happily connecting with the painting process.

Katie’s nearly unquenchable passion for process, progress, creation and discovery requires that she paint daily in her Kalama Washington studio. Her paintings sell regularly through local galleries, monthly shows and quarterly events.

Recently named the 2006 Woman Entrepreneur of the Year by the Women Entrepreneur Organization of Washington, Katie's clients and collectors include Vancouver & Portland-based design & advertising firms, children's magazines, schools, non-profit organizations, & a variety of private families and small businesses.

When not painting, you can find Katie enjoying time with her husband and two small children, walking, reading, watching movies, and learning about art and business.

Katie can be contacted at Katie@kmberggren.com or 360.261.0874.
