Message from the Artist:
I love sleep, not just how great it feels to be in its midst, or to be nearly taken over by it – and not just because of how a steady session of it makes me feel. I love sleep because of the veil of innocence it brings with it – how sleep transforms the strong and serious into smooshed and winky creatures – how it heals and renews the bodies and spirits of my loved ones.

My babies sometimes fight sleep when it is what they need most and sometimes they seem to want me to just let them be so they can drift off. I love how their faces become dewy and fresh while their amazing bodies replenish and heal throughout the night.

I love that I am able to witness something so powerful as I watch my little ones become folded into sleep’s safe, warm and gentle grasp.
