"Edge of the Bed" Acrylic on Cradled Board 32x24" December 2007 From The Artist: Wrapped and folded together, they've scooted and slipped toward the edge while sleeping, but I have no worries that that baby will tumble :)

When my first son was nine days old, I overheard my stepdad say to my mom: "Katie sure loves that baby, doesn't she?" For some reason, this statement helps to summarize this piece.

Another painting on deep cradled gessobord (see an example) with unstained 2" Oak edges.
